 La Florida:

    

 La Florida is residential area centrally located in Orihuela Costa. The beaches of Punta Prima and Playa Flamenca are less than 30 minutes walk should visitors without a vehicle.
La Florida boasts some of the most popular bars and restaurants in Orihuela Costa. These are all centred around Calle Escorpio where there is also a park, children's playground and tennis courts. The famous Abbey Tavern is an Irish themed bar. It boasts a lovely bar, DJ booth, dance floor and a fantastic garden.
Further entertainment venues on this strip include bar The Arianaz, Waldemars and Pizzeria La Familia, that also features live entertainment in the garden.
Just a short walk up from the strip is the very popular Emerald Isle. This is a large Irish bar and restaurant complex that is famed for it's regular live entertainment and Sunday roast. Visitors can enjoy a large swimming pool surrounded by lawns for relaxing and sunbathing. The complex is also home to the well maintained Emerald Isle Lawn Bowls Club.

 

Cabo Roig:

 

 South of La Zenia you will find Cabo Roig. When driving from La Zenia you know when you have reached the Cabo Roig round-about. The pyramid inside the round-about tells you, that you have arrived. In Cabo Roig you will find one of the nicest stretches on the promenade from Playa Flamenca to Campoamor. Along the N-332 you will find the popular “Cabo Roig Strip” with restaurants, bars, cafees and much more.

 

Campoamor:

 

 Through out the area of Costa Blanca you will find lots of Spaniards with their private holiday homes. In Campoamor you will find more than anywhere else in Orihuela Costa. By tradition lots of Families from Murcia have had their holiday homes for decades. Here you will find kilometres of white sand beaches, a marina and lots of typical Spanish restaurants.

 

El Chaparral :

 Located approximately 3 kilometers northwest of Torrevieja’s city center are the residential areas of La Siesta and El Chaparral. They are comprised of many developments which feature spacious villas, townhouses, and apartment blocks. Most of the rows of residences and holiday accommodations surround the town center where the main road, rotunda, and various commercial shops and restaurants are located.

 

 

La Zenia : 

La Zenia is a popular area centrally located in Orihuela Costa inside the province of Alicante. It is well known for the superb Zenia Boulevard shopping complex and excellent Blue Flag beaches. The area also boasts a further choice of commercial centres, the Orihuela Costa Resort Hotel and some great bars and restaurants.
La Zenia is located very close to Playa Flamenca, Cabo Roig, Villamartin, Campoamor, La regia, Los Dolses and Punta Prima.

 

Los Altos : 

Los Altos on the Orihuela Costa is situated just south of Torrevieja on the Costa Blanca in Spain. Los Altos is located just 10 minutes away from the award winning beaches of Punta Prima, Playa Flamenca and La Zenia.
The World Health Organisation declared this area one of the healthiest places to live in the world. A visit to the Salinas (salt lakes) in La Mata and Torrevieja is highly recommended.
Despite being small Los Altos has its own international restaurants and bars to choose from. It has also a good shopping area with many shops selling a variety of goods.
The Orihuela Costa is well-known for its beautiful and excellent Golf Courses (The fabulous Villamartin Golf Course, Las Ramblas, Campoamor Golf, set amongst the palm and pine trees, and Las Colinas). Los Altos is 45 minutes from Alicante airport, and 25 minutes from Murcia's San Javier airport.

 

 

Los Balcones : 

Los Balcones is a residential area of Torrevieja that borders Orihuela Costa.
Los Balcones is a very family friendly area with lots of international resitdents. The Torrevieja salt lake and natural park are within walking distance for many residents. Here you will find picturesque nature trails among the interesting flora & fauna.
Behind the large Mercadona Supermarket is the lively commercial centre Filton. This is a place filled with buzzing bars and restaurants.Just up from the centre is an excellent recreational park with all sorts of sports courts, picnic areas and even a doggy park.
Los Balcones boasts one of the only hotels in the area, the modern and stylish Doña Monse.

 

 

Orihuela-Costa:

In the south of Torrevieja, you will find Orihuela Costa. Orihuela Costa is a part of Orihuela. The town of Orihuela is located about 20 kilometers inland, with several municipalities in between.
It is difficult to say exactly how many people live in Orihuela Costa because the number of short-term or longer-term stays is much higher. Many people who own a holiday home in Orihuela Costa spend most of the year in Spain.
Orihuela Costa is a huge area with several suburbs such as Punta Prima, Playa Flamenca, La Zenia, Cabo Roig, Campoamor, Villamartin and Los Altos. In Orihuela Costa you will also find 4 golf courses, including the award-winning Las Colinas Golf & Country Club.

 

Playa Flamenca : 

 

Playa Flamenca is a small beach resort just south of Punta Prima and north of La Zenia on the southern Orihuela Costa Blanca.
One of the large developments in Playa Flamenca is the La Florida urbanisation.
The market day in Playa Flamenca is on a Saturday where you can purchase anything from clothes, bags, shoes, fruits and vegetables as well as freshly cooked chickens, paellas and tortillas. The market is situated on the main road running through Playa Flamenca.
The Flamenca Beach commercial centre and Via Park are the main locations for bars, shops and restaurants.

 

Punta Prima: 

Punta Prima is a typical Spanish seaside tourist resort located on the southern Costa Blanca within 45 minutes of two international airports, Murcia and Alicante.
The beaches are some of the cleanest around and have been awarded the blue flag status.
Punta Prima has a Mediterranean climate with 320 days of sunshine a year. The beach has a wonderful promenade with shops and boutiques and bars and restaurants.
Punta Prima also has a Commercial Centre with a mix of restaurants, bars and a supermarket Consum.

 

Torrevieja : 

Torrevieja is a Spanish city in the province of Alicante, on the Costa Blanca. It is known for its typical Mediterranean climate and coastline. It has promenades along the sandy beaches, pleasant for an evening stroll or a morning jog. The small Sea and Salt Museum houses exhibits about the town's fishing and salt history. Inland, the Lagunas de La Mata-Torrevieja Natural Park has trails and two salty lagoons, one pink and one green.

 

Villamartín:

 

Crossing the highway from La Zenia will take you to Villamartin. Villamartin is a large area with several neighborhoods such as Los Dolses, Pau-1, Valencia, El Presidente, Las Violetas and many more. The area is much more hilly than the beach side of the highway – and much greener too. Here you will find small shopping streets with supermarkets and numerous restaurants. As well as several golf courses, Villamartin golf club and Las Ramblas.
